Sex Toy Cleaning

Always clean your sex toys after and preferably before each use. To prevent the corrosion of metal inside sex toy, you should remove the batteries when you clean and even store your toys. But if there is a little corrosion you can remove it using a small brush and a little pinch of soda. After that you’d apply a very small amount of Vaseline to the corroded place to prevent its spreading.

Sex toys external parts can be cleaned with a moisture wipe. Do this ONLY with waterproof toys! But if you have a non-waterproof toy you should clean it with a slightly moisture wipe or a towel around toy’s base. Such gentle cleaning will help you to avoid water entering to the internal part of the toy. But if water does entered the internal area, try to wipe out the area you can reach using a dry wipe or a towel, and even do not try to turn it on until you are sure that there’s no water inside.

Sex Toy Storing

Choose carefully the place for your sex toys. Never put toys in dirty place with dangerous for your health bacteria! You should know that dust accumulates on jelly toys with great ease, so be sure that your jelly toy is not in the dusty place. Fall into the habit of sex toy cleaning before use.

Hygiene

Never insert sex toys directly from the anus and then into the vagina! Anus bacteria can cause diseases of urinary track. But if you want to use it in the vagina or mouth after anal sex play, you’d better use a condom or wash it carefully, or if you don’t wish to interrupt your play, just change into another toy.

Sex Toys’ Lifespan

There’s no toy that can last forever. It is sad, but true. :( Everything depends on frequency of use. So, you should throw your toy out if:
- it stops working, even after you replace batteries;
- there are splits on acryl, glass, and plastic materials;
- mould appears on the toy’s material;
- the inveterate corrosion is visible inside the battery area.

Remember that the more you use a sex toy, the more is probability to throw it out. Never try to fix it yourself!
